Ken Osowski Named Chief Financial Officer

Frandsen Financial Corporation chief executive officer, Rich Hoban, announced that Ken Osowski has been named chief financial officer, effective July 31, 2015.  Osowski has an MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Viterbo University. 

Osowski will be responsible for financial and regulatory reporting, asset/liability management, and profitability management.  He will serve on the Frandsen Bank & Trust Asset/Liability Committee, Enterprise Risk Management Committee, along with being a part of the executive management team.

Most recently Osowski was senior vice president and chief financial officer at First National Bank of River Falls, Wis.  Prior to that, he spent 14 years at First Federal Capital Bank in La Crosse, Wis., a $3.8 billion institution, last serving as their corporate vice president and controller.  Other banking experience includes management positions at Bank One and CIB Marine Bancshares in Milwaukee, Wis.

In making the announcement, Hoban said, “Ken is highly regarded in the community banking industry, and his background is a perfect fit for Frandsen Financial.  His expertise will help us achieve our growth and profitability goals in the future.”

Osowski has been very active in community service throughout his career.  He is currently serving as a Director and Executive Committee member of the Allina Hospital in River Falls, and was also a recent past Chairman of the hospital’s Board of Directors.  Additionally, Osowski has held leadership positions as a Director of the St. Croix Valley United Way, River Falls Community Art Base, and Habitat for Humanity.
